when your country has the favor of the gods, it means that there are bonus areas open to people in american districts. Like for instance if america has the favor of the gods and you go to Temple of Ages, you can /kneel infront of one of the statues and pay 1000g to enter the Underworld or the Fissure...also there are statues throughout the game in missions that you can pay 100g to and they will give you a moral bonus...

Favor of the Gods goes to the world (America, Europe or Korea) when a team from that world wins in the Hall of Heroes (the final map for Tomb of the Primeval Kings). When your world has the favor of the gods the statures of the gods glow and avatars of the gods appear. Two of the avatars in the Temple of the Ages will allow you to enter special high level areas for a sum of money (1 Plat per group). These areas are Fissure of Woe and the Underworld.
